Violet Blonde inspired by delicate flower

THE VIOLET

A violet by a mossy stone
half hidden from the eye,
fair as a star when only one
is shining in the sky.

- William Wordsworth

Violets have given rise much poetry and song, as well as the name of my daughter. The delicate purple flowers have also inspired a recent fragrance by design guru Tom Ford.

Violet Blonde is based on powdery notes of violet and iris. It opens with violet leaf, Italian mandarin and pink pepper. The centerpiece is Tuscan iris absolute, Tuscan orris butter, Sambac jasmine and sampaquita. The base is musk, suede, cedar, vetiver and benzoin.
