The International Fragrance Association announced today it will release a full fragrance formula for the first time ever.
The formula, along with samples of the fragrance, will be given to visitors to the IFRA exhibition "A Sense of Europe," which will be held in the European Parliament from Jan. 31-Feb. 2.
The public offering is designed to show the creative artistry and skill that goes into creating a fragrance.
The formula was created by Christophe Laudamiel, a world renowned perfumer whose signature scents include Abercrombie & Fitch's Fierce and Ralph Lauren's Polo Blue.
"This will be a unique opportunity to actually contemplate a genuine full fragrance formula," said a spokesperson for the IFRA in a press release issued today. "Formulae have traditionally been a closely guarded secret and are an important piece of intellectual property for the fragrance industry."
A Sense of Europe celebrates specific moments of change in European history and brings them to life through a unique combination of olfactory and visual stimuli.
The International Fragrance Association promotes the enjoyment of fragrances. It was founded in 1973 and is based in Brussels.
Stay tuned to "in a bottle" for the formula. We'll publish a copy as soon as it is released.
Europeans ability for perfumes is legendary. Valladolid´s coqui coqui tulum in Mexico wad founded by the spanish, which used the flowers of the region to make exquisite fragrances.
